Account owner, tier and renewal from HubSpot, on every card

Link a Thorpe account to its HubSpot company, and whoever picks up a request sees who the customer is and what is at stake. Thorpe only reads from HubSpot. It is optional, and an admin connects it.

The account page shows HubSpot fields, and the triage card carries a line with the tier, renewal date and CSM

Context where the request is

A request in a shared channel says what the customer needs. HubSpot says who they are. Thorpe puts the two side by side.

Read only, by design

When an admin connects HubSpot, Thorpe asks only to read companies, company properties and owners. It never writes to HubSpot.

A hub connects to one Thorpe workspace at a time. Connect the hub you mean to keep: switching your workspace to a different hub is coming.

Map the fields you use

The mapping tells Thorpe which company properties to read. Pick a Tier property, an ARR property and a Renewal date property, or leave any as Not mapped. Without a mapping, Thorpe still syncs the owner and the lifecycle stage.

If you map a tier property, add a row for each of its values and pick the Thorpe tier it means.

Owners and tiers that stay current

Thorpe matches the HubSpot owner's email address to a teammate who has signed in to Thorpe. If the email matches nobody, the account has no owner until it does.

Once the link is made by hand or confirmed, each sync with a mapped tier value replaces the tier set in Accounts. A request keeps the SLA policy it opened with. Linked accounts refresh about once a day, and admins can choose Refresh on an account to sync it sooner.

How it works

  1. Step 1

An admin goes to Settings > Integrations, chooses Connect HubSpot and approves read access in HubSpot.

  2. Step 2

The admin maps the tier, ARR and renewal date properties, or leaves them unmapped.

  3. Step 3

Some accounts are matched automatically by their customers' email domain after the first mapping is saved. An admin links any other account by hand with Find company in Accounts.

  4. Step 4

The account page and the triage card show the HubSpot details from then on.

Questions

Does Thorpe change anything in HubSpot?

No. Thorpe only reads companies, company properties and owners.

Do I have to link every account by hand?

No. The first time an admin saves the mapping, Thorpe links each unlinked account to a HubSpot company when exactly one company has the email domain used by the largest number of its customers. It skips free mail and a domain several accounts share. A match shows Auto-matched until an admin chooses Confirm or Undo. Its owner, ARR and renewal date apply at once, so 1. Account owner can route to that owner before you confirm; only the tier waits for Confirm. Link any other account with Find company.

What happens if we disconnect HubSpot?

Thorpe stops syncing tier, ARR, renewal and owner, and the field mapping is cleared. Linked accounts keep their last synced fields.
